One of the reasons to stay at Cabin Wisconsin is to enjoy the wonderful Twin Lakes of Lake Elizabeth and Lake Mary!  While staying with us at Cabin Wisconsin, you can rent a pontoon boat through us, complete with captain if you like.  

Rates for rental are $200 for 1/2 day or $400 for a full day.  Fuel not included.

Fishing
Both Lakes Mary and Elizabeth offer excellent fishing little known to the general public outside the local area.  Fish off the pier at our lakefront homes or go on the lake with your own craft or rented pontoon boat from Cabin Wisconsin.

Just don't forget your fishing license!  You can get a license from the Wal Mart in Lake Geneva, a mere 15 minutes away, located at:

Hunting/Sporting Clays
Relax and enjoy the Midwest's only natural outdoor hunting facility at the Richmond Hunting Club. The Club maintains 850 acres of hills, flatlands, woods, open spaces, marshes, ponds, and streams.  Only minutes from Twin Lakes.  Sporting clays are open to the public (rental equipment available), and the Club can also organize an introductory pheasant hunt.  Advance reservations required.

There are several options for public hunting land within 30 minutes of Twin Lakes.  Here are several:

Bong State Recreation Area-Size: 4,515 acres, all state-owned.
Principal Wildlife: Pheasants, waterfowl, furbearers, rabbits, squirrels
Habitat: Farmland, potholes, forest, grassland, marsh.

New Munster Wildlife Area-Size: 1,199 acres, (1,048 owned, 210 leased).
Principal Wildlife: Pheasants, woodcock, furbearers, rabbits, squirrels, waterfowl, deer.

Paintball
If simulated mortal combat is more your speed, you have your choice of paintball fields within 30 minutes of Twin Lakes.

Go just south of the border in Richmond, IL to RHC Paintball Fields.  Open from April to September, they offer three action packed themed fields, two speedball fields, and a challenging shooting range. There is also a clubhouse open for breakfast and lunch, as well as a full service bar.

In Lake Geneva, try Planet Extreme.  Rated very well by paintball enthusiasts, this facility is only about 20 minutes from Twin Lakes.

The Faire is many acres of pure fun! 20 stages offer variety entertainment all day long. Six Flags Great America/Hurricane Harbor
Want to get your thrill on?  One of the premiere amusement and water parks is a mere 30 minutes from Twin Lakes! The main park features 9 roller coasters, water rides and games galore. Hurricane Harbor has anything from the Lazy River to super fast water thrill rides for the most hearty adventurer.
